Hi, I’m Rita Vera

Founder of Indigo Flow and a guide in mindful movement.

My path with movement began through challenge. In 2014, my health started to decline, and persistent pain gradually took away my freedom to move. After years of searching for answers, I was diagnosed with a chronic inflammatory rheumatic condition affecting my spine and joints. In early 2023, I also received diagnoses of endometriosis and adenomyosis, finally bringing clarity to years of debilitating periods and the profound impact they had on my physical and emotional well-being.

That experience changed my relationship with my body completely.

Movement was no longer about pushing, achieving, or going further.
It became about listening to learning the language of the body — its limits, its signals, its intelligence.

Yoga entered my life during that time, not as a performance, but as a way to reconnect. Through breath, stillness, and gentle exploration, I began to rebuild trust in my body — slowly, and on its own terms.

As my path deepened, I completed my yoga teacher training and expanded into Pilates, Anatomy, and Strength Training. What I found was not a single method, but an approach: one that values stability over intensity, awareness over repetition, and sustainability over extremes.

Indigo Flow was born from this understanding.

It is a space for those who want to move differently — with more awareness, more respect, and more honesty.

A space where movement adapts to you,
where strength is built with intelligence,
and where the body is not pushed, but supported.

My work is guided by lived experience, continuous learning, and a deep respect for the body as it is — not as it “should” be.

Indigo Flow is an invitation:
to slow down, to listen, and to return to yourself through movement.

The body has its own wisdom — sometimes we just need to learn how to listen.

My Approach

Awareness, respect for the body, and mindful progression.

Each body is unique, and every person arrives with a different history, different needs, and different rhythms. For this reason, my teaching is never about forcing the body into shapes, but about guiding it to move with intelligence, curiosity, and care.

Through a combination of Yoga, Pilates, Strength, Breathwork, and Functional Movement, I help people develop strength, mobility, balance, and a deeper connection with their bodies.

My intention is not only to improve physical capacity, but also to cultivate presence — creating space to slow down, listen, and reconnect with the body from within.

Movement, when practiced with awareness, becomes more than exercise. It becomes a way to support long-term well-being and a more balanced relationship with ourselves.

My group classes are designed with particular sensitivity to the needs of the female body, while remaining open and welcoming to everyone.
